Travel Advice When planning a foreign trip we recommend you contact the Practice Nurse to enquire if any vaccinations are recommended for the area you are travelling to.   It is important to note that some vaccinations must be given weeks prior to travelling to a destination to ensure adequate protection, so don’t leave it too late.    Where necessary we can provide vaccination for the following conditions; Tetanus, Polio, Diphtheria, Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Typhoid, Meningitis, Varicella (Chickenpox), MMR (Measles/Mumps/Rubella), Pneumococcal Vaccine & Whooping Cough (Pertussis)  If you take regular medication remember to bring adequate supply for your trip.  It is recommended that if you are on long term regular mediation to bring a letter from your GP with a list of your medication.  It is advisable to always ensure you have adequate travel insurance, particularly health insurance.
