Virginia Medical Practice
Patients experiencing any respiratory symptoms (cough, runny nose, sinus symptoms) should take a COVID-19 Antigen test before presenting to the surgery.
If the test is positive you should isolate for 5 days
48 hours of which should be symptom free and it is advised avoid meeting with people who may be high risk for 10 days
as you may remain infectious for up to 10 days from the start of symptoms.
If your test is negative please wear a face mask to your appointment as patients can often be symptomatic
for several days before testing positive.
We appreciate our telephone lines are extremely busy and it is difficult to get through but
please do bear with us, if your call is not urgent please note our lines are often less busy during the afternoons.
Many thanks.
